Alright, here’s the final full-collection highlight from Paris Couture Week, and I’ve saved Zuhair Murad for last!
His collections usually feature the same thing – intricate embroidery, bold pleating and draping, sensual slits and necklines – but somehow, it always feels different and even more magical than the last. This particular range of styles reached all ends of the spectrum, from flirty short cocktail frocks to stunning floor-length gowns, and the delicate shimmery fabrics duly commanded center-stage attention, as the use of organza, tulle, silk, and cascading crystals and lace blended together to channel the fluidity of water.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see some of these on the red carpet this awards season!
