I like to think that I am a Ralph & Russo girl. I mean, everytime I see a new collection from the dynamic duo, I just feel this inexplicable magical connection with the style… almost like the creations were designed just for me (you know, in an alternate reality)! Well, one can fantasize, right?
So here we are winding down the last bits of my Paris Couture Week highlights with a look at Ralph & Russo’s Spring 2015 Haute Couture collection. You can expect one more full-collection highlight later on today (any guesses as to which one?!), and after I finish it all off this weekend with a final roundup, it’ll be back to our regular sartorial postings with some cool interludes from New York Fashion Week!
Surely I can’t be the only one who’s thinking of the early, classic Dior and Valentino looks as these gowns flash before my eyes! That silhouette! Those intricate floral embroideries! If this isn’t the epitome of elegance and romance, then I don’t know what could be more fitting. Merely glancing at these gowns transports us to the olden times when class and sophistication was everything (as opposed to today’s crass world).
Pure old glamour artistry, this collection is.
