Across the Atlantic Ocean, something big is currently happening in Paris… it’s the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week!
In the past, I usually do a photo recap at the end of the week to highlight some of my favorite looks from my favorite designers. To change it up this year, I’ve decided that instead of grouping it all together and doing a massive photo post at the end of each fashion week, I would take some time to dedicate entire posts to particular collections. Today, I’m starting off this new practice on Jayeeaych by sharing Lebanese designer Georges Hobeika’s Spring 2015 haute couture collection from Paris Couture Week.
Georges Hobeika has been a leading favorite designer of mine for the past few years, and his Spring 2015 haute couture floral-inspired collection just made me fall more in love with his designs. Sweet and innocent, the flattering cocktail dresses, embellished circle skirts, and floor-trailing gowns exude nothing but young fairy-tale romance. From the pretty pastels to the delicate organza and chiffon fabrics with dainty floral embroidery, every piece in this collection captures the fresh and pure breath of spring perfectly and would certainly make even the most cynical of hearts soften.
