If you’ve been following my Instagram, you might remember that I’ve welcomed a couple of new friends into my shoe closet. I haven’t had the chance to wear them out yet, so I decided to play around and do a mini-photoshoot to share them with you! Yes, it’s a shoe shoot. What a riot.
For the longest time, I’ve been unsure about my feelings towards d’orsay pumps (flats in this particular style are still a no for me!). But with this pair of metallic BCBG heels, I think I’m starting to lean towards a positive impression. I still prefer the classic pointed-toe pumps, but throwing in a d’orsay once in a while mixes things up a bit in a good way, especially if they’re as gorgeous as these gold-toned ones!
Needless to say, both of these heels are a little big on me (see my shoe complaints here and here), but at this point, I’ve gotten so used to padding my shoes that a little extra wiggle room is just mere annoyance now. But even so, I can still have a little fun with them by means of a white surface and a camera!
