There’s just something about pretty pastels that make summer weather that much more bearable.
I just wanted to quickly highlight this lilac dress from Hollister. It looked super cute in pictures on the retailer’s website, and when I got to see it in person (and try it on), it didn’t disappoint at all. I love that the crochet waist adds some contrast to the pattern, and even though the top of the dress felt a bit too revealing for everyday-wear with the v-neckline and the spaghetti crossback straps, the problem was easily fixed with a chambray shirt that matched the overall color scheme.
Now, if you’re ever in Southern California’s Orange County and in the mood for some good tea, I highly recommend Tranquil Tea Lounge in Fullerton (the drink in my hand here is from there!). It was my first time there, and I was slightly overwhelmed by the enormous tea selection. Tranquil Tea Lounge also serves food and dessert, but I would go there just for the tea. It took a while deciding what to get, but in the end, I got an iced Fijian Sunset (organic green tea, papaya, and wild pineapple) infused with lemonade…. and it was delicious! For the price, the amount of tea I got was certainly worth it. I couldn’t even finish it all in one sitting, and I had to ask for a to-go cup. Here’s a helpful tip: Drink there rather than take it to-go, as you’ll get more in terms of quantity; you’ll see what I mean if you ever get the chance to try it out!
Happy Monday to you all! June is just flying by too too quickly!
