If there was one designer showing at NYFW who made the biggest wave, it was probably Tommy Hilfiger. Never one to ‘go with the flow,’ Hilfiger partnered up with current it-girl Gigi Hadid and converted Manhattan’s Pier 16 into a Tommy Pier! A runway show the first night and an open-to-public carnival the next day, Tommy Pier featured free rides (albeit long lines), tasty food vendors, and millions of perfect photo-ops as well as several tents showcasing the covetable new Tommy x Gigi collection.
Having made major headlines this time around, it comes as no surprise that the fashion crowd is already wondering what they can expect from the designer next season.
