NOT SO BASIC

Here’s a quick post to jump-start the week. I met up with my mum yesterday for an afternoon date and she made her debut as a substitute photographer for me!

As you can probably tell, I’ve been really into lightweight outerwear pieces lately. Transitional and versatile, they can pull even the most basic of outfits, like a classic white v-neck/denim shorts combination, into a polished look. A couple of posts ago, I shared some of my favorite spring jackets, which you can see here. This Vero Moda trench I’m wearing is on that list, and I was eyeing it for the longest time and finally caved – it’s the perfect shade of olive green, and I’m so fond of the relaxed shape and the 3/4 sleeves! For those of you who like bright colors, there’s also a great pink version in stock.
