Fresh Faces

When I was in my pre-teens, I greatly admired the likes of Gisele Bundchen, Adriana Lima, and a number of model-like actresses, and I secretly wanted to be confident, fierce, and graceful like them, complete with the stunning cheekbones and jawline! I remember one day casually scrolling through a top New York modeling agency website just for fun (I was more interested in gathering trivia than actually getting casted/noticed for anything, because let’s be real here), and my mother saw me and immediately freaked out thinking that I, like so many naive girls, was getting swindled in some so-called modeling gig.

I’ve moved on a little past that since then. But today, in addition to sharing this billowy summer look with a lace-insert blouse and a short floral skirt, I want to share an exciting opportunity for girls (and guys!) who are just like my pre-teen self, not only filled with fascination with the modeling world but also yearn for a learning chance to gain confidence and positive body image.
