Remember when I briefly talked about a couple of InstaNatural’s magic products here? Last time, it was all about hair, but today, let’s change it up and talk about skincare.
Just to recap: InstaNatural is a leading online and global distributor of more than a dozen nature-inspired beauty and cosmetics products, which are not only popular on Amazon.com but also can be found in leading spas and salons.
Today, I’m sharing another two amazing InstaNatural products that I’ve integrated into my beauty routine. Once every week, I hold a mini spa session for myself by using the Dead Sea Mud Facial Mask, which acts as an intense skin cleanser, pore reducer, and natural moisturizer that helps all types of skin reduce the appearance of blemishes and fine lines. Not only does it do wonders for the face, it also can be used on the body, since the blend of organic shea butter, jojoba oil, aloe vera, calendula oil, and hickory bark extract provide moisture to dry and irritated skin. I mainly use it on the face, as I’ve found that it’s a powerful detoxer, expunging blackheads and evening out skin tone. in extracting oil, dirt, and general toxins we pick up each day from the skin, resulting in skin looking better and brighter. For reference, here’s a look at my application routine of the Dead Sea Mud Mask:
- Cleanse skin first before applying the mud mask. It can be applied on wet or dry skin, but I’ve found that it’s easier to apply on dry skin.
- Apply a small amount of mud mask onto the face with your fingertips and spread over face evenly.
- The mud mask should feel cooling and soothing to the skin at first, but should then quickly start to dry out (usually takes 10-15min). You can multi-task at this point while waiting for the mask to dry. I like to read or catch up on my television shows.
- Once dried, remove the mud mask by using warm water.
Alternatively, you can also use the mud mask as a spot treatment on blemishes. I’ve done this for a couple of stubborn zits and they disappeared significantly quicker than before!
Special note: Due to the high concentration of minerals, it’s best to use the mud mask only once a week to avoid irritating the skin. Excessive use may lead to drying out or irritating the skin. Additionally, a tingling or slight itchy feeling and/or a flushed face post-mask is normal, since that is the result of the mud mask hardening and extracting toxins from the skin. If these sensations persist, however, you should stop using the mask.
Post-face mask, I hydrate my skin with the Retinol Moisturizer Cream. This is something that can be used everyday, both morning and nighttime, and it glides on smoothly without any oily residue. Acting as an anti-aging antioxidant, it not only hydrates skin but reduces wrinkles/hyperpigmentation and reverses sun damage (I can’t say this enough – it’s never too early to start taking care of your skin!).
Special note: If applied during the day, it’s important to wear sunscreen in conjunction with the Retinol Moisturizer, as the Retinol may make the skin even more susceptible to the sun’s rays.
Thanks for reading! Cheers to a better skin complexion!
