Can you tell that I’m actually really cold in these shots?! The stormy weekend that has gotten Los Angeles and Orange County residents all worked up into a worrisome frenzy has slowly abated, but the post-rain air is still quite chilly and crisp (by the way, you may notice some lingering grey storm clouds in the background of some of these photos)! H and I were heading to South Coast Plaza to do some (window) shopping, and even though I had brought along a jacket, I ultimately decided to leave it in the car, figuring I could bear the chilliness for a few minutes before dashing into the building.
But such overcast conditions provide amazing lighting for photos! I had on a cozy Sunday outfit and relied on my skirt to give my look a bit of a subtle color pop, and the gloomy clouds definitely helped the camera do it justice. But seriously, girls, if you haven’t gotten into skater skirts yet, I highly suggest you give it a whirl (there goes a pun…). They make for the easiest and most comfortable lazy outfit!
