My biggest hike with the prettiest views to date - paired with a few other outdoorsy, dusty adventures. Kept telling myself if Frodo could make it up to Mount Doom barefoot, then I can make it back to the car as well.

Happy MeowPie Day! 10 years of MeowPie today! Can’t believe it’s already been a decade since adoption day. Oh MeowPie, you don’t know how to read but I want everyone to know just how special you are, even if you are so annoying sometimes with all your delicate flower frailties — asthma, plastic allergy, flea allergy, seasonal allergy, kidney disease, and your new motion sickness issue (despite doing 8 years of bicoastal life??)...plus, let’s not forget your constant need for syringe & spoon feeding. And that one time we beat fatty liver disease. Wow. We’ve been through the wringer together so many times – but you’ve also been with me through some of life’s biggest moments. Thank you for giving me comfort and purpose in life even during some of my darkest moments, and thanks for being the most un-cat cat ever, letting me cut your nails and throw you a garden party, posing for all the ridiculous photos, rolling around in a stroller, not causing havoc around the house, and all that fun stuff. I don’t think I can tell people I have actual cat experience because you’ve been so easy (despite aforementioned special needs). Baby forever, soul bond forever 🤍 happy birthday, happy adoptiversary.

Because why wouldn’t you throw a birthday / adoptiversary summer garden party for your cat? Thanks to everyone who humored us and came and played with flowers at the DIY bouquet bar 💐🌷☀️
