Happy Friday, my lovely readers!
It’s always so great to be able to recycle items from the closet. I don’t know about you, but when I make my purchases, I like to think long-term. Sure, a fast turnaround time for your clothes may mean always having something new to show off, but that will definitely run the number in your bank account to a dangerously low one. And anyways, once you find something versatile that can work again and again with multiple outfits, where’s the harm in re-wearing them (even Duchess Kate Middleton recycles outfits!)? Forget the typical disapproving frowns you might collect from an “repeat outfit” faux pas. As long as you’re confident in what you wear, and what you wear looks good, you’ve got it, so go flaunt it!
With all that said, you might recall this tee from this post (and the skirt from multiple posts!), but the vibe is entirely different! Rather than giving off an edgy tomboy impression like last time, I went for a bit of a Casual Friday: Chic Edition look by pairing the oversized tee with one of my staple items – the black skater skirt – and finished it off with towering 4.5 heels in the shape of these suede Sam Edelman ankle boots.
