Every Friday, I tell myself to leave either Saturday or Sunday completely void of plans so that for the first time in a long while, I can revel in having nothing to do and perhaps catch up on some reading, movie-watching in bed, and/or DIY spa time, where I can truly relax and rejuvenate my mind for the new week. So far, that has yet to happen…and it’s probably why I’m constantly tired during the week. But I’m not complaining. With a freezing winter looming ominously in the days ahead, I’m doubling my efforts to enjoy the autumn sights around town.
From the Brooklyn Flea + Holiday Market in Forte Green to a few blocks over at SkyIce in Park Slope, every little street was like a scene from a postcard. Colorful leaves sprinkled around the steps of brownstone homes paved the perfect backdrop for scenic photos every few steps.
Hope you’ll enjoy these images from my little autumn Brooklyn wanderings! The leaves are fading fast as the chill is setting in, but I’m hoping to soak in as much of these views as I can. I’m particularly excited for this Thanksgiving week – with a long weekend in store, you can bet I’ll be wandering around, camera in hand and Instagram at the ready!
